How To Modify OpenCart Image Upload Size

OpenCart-logo-emmynetGot the hitch while trying to upload a 1 MB image size while working on a client site as the default image upload size was set at 300kb / 1000x1000px limits but one can modify the size by either increasing or decreasing the value but in my case i have to increase it so it can accommodate image file larger than 300KB.

Follow the step below;

Access your store file manager via cpanel or FTP.

Locate the “admin\controller\common\filemanager.php” folder

Find the code  ($this->request->files['image']['size'] > 300000) {
$json['error'] = $this->language->get(‘error_file_size’);
}

Change and set the value to your desired size.

And how to change the 1000×1000 pixels?

EDIT: Found it, in: …\admin\view\javascript\ckeditor\plugins\image\dialogs\image.js
